The Solution: Landing Page Optimisation

Alkemi first had to understand visitor behaviour on the Budget site. The first challenge was the installation of Analytics. Once Alkemi could clearly understand visitor behaviour on the site, they could identify the problems and recommend solutions to rectify.

Landing Page Optimisation services was the first priority in order to improve ROI. With the proper analytics tools, Alkemi was able to determine visitor buying behaviour and created landing pages to direct traffic away from the home page. Alkemi created pages more relevant to the visitors' buying needs and created a "call to action" to guide visitors through to the next step in the rental car booking process (i.e. booking engine).


The Result: Reduced cost, increased revenue

The bounce rates (visitors leaving without selecting any other pages on the site) reduced from 55% to under 10% in one month for key landing pages (FYI - anything under 20% is deemed as a very good bounce rate for a page).

Media cost of revenue went from 120% to now consistently average under 4% every month.
